The seven young otters are keeping their beastiality pic playful father, and one-year old sibling, amused, as they romp around the otter pool. This is the second biggest otter litter in the UK, and the largest litter for this breeding pair.

These young otters will stay with their parents for at least a year and, when they are older, will help to rear any subsequent litters.

beastiality pic The two male deer are spending four months in an off-show quarantine den on the Hoofstock section. London Zoo's female has joined the male which is to stay at the Zoo, in the hope that the pair will mate during sex this breeding season.

Once he has completed his quarantine period, the other male will be paired with a female at another collection.

All three animals are part of the European breeding programme for the species.

    'Tyger' a painting by artist Penny Wheatley is to be sold to benefit 21st Century Tiger, a partnership between Global Tiger Patrol and London Zoo dedicated to supporting wild tiger conservation.
    beastiality pic The painting, which is currently exhibited in the Zoological Society of London's headquarters in Regent's Park, was inspired by the 'Tyger, tyger, burning bright' of William Blake's famous poem.

    'Tyger' shows a tiger shimmering into view with the dark jungle in the background.

    Penny says: 'It is the ultimate paradox. How can God create something which is so fierce and terrifying, with its fearful symmetry, thumbnail capable of ruthlessly tearing its prey to shreds, and yet, at the same time, something so utterly beautiful, graceful, gorgeous?'

    Penny is donating dog the proceeds of the sale of 'Tyger' to the 21st Century Tiger appeal. The sale of the painting is being you arranged by the Zoological Society of London.

    Alex Coppin, London Zoo's new Visitor Services Sales Manager, ran the London Marathon on 16th April in aid of London Zoo.
    Alex has already run the Marathon twice before, both times raising money for charity. This time he decided to give the money he raised to London Zoo, and he identified projects for disabled visitors as his worthy cause.

    Alex completed the Marathon in four-and-a-half hours.
